All our dishes are prepared fresh daily on the premises, by The Owner Chef Alan, and his Team Kathy Colgrove and Karen Lersch.

Our menus change frequently depending on what fresh produce is currently available, we insist on fresh produce at all times and try to ensure its from local producers

Our fish comes fresh from Grimsby, Supplied by Keith Wright, who delivers fresh fish in this area, providing a door to door service for the following villages:
Tuesdays  Roade 8am-12.30.
Stoke Bruerne 12.30-1.00.
Grafton Regis 1.00-1.30.
Yardley Gobion 1.30-2.00.
Cosgrove 2.10-2.30.
Castlethorpe 2.40-3.30.
Hanslope 3.40-4.14.
Blisworth 4.30-5.30.

All our Meat is mainly British and is Supplied by Bookers of Great Billing, We only use fresh ingredients where ever possible, hence the ever changing menus........ Give us some idea`s 

Our Restaurant gets very busy as we only seat 26-29 covers comfortably, so we strongly advise that prior reservations are made to avoid disappointment for the restaurant.

The restaurant can be hired for your function and reserved just for your private party providing the numbers are at least 24 to a maximum of 29.

Should you make a reservation in our Restaurant this "Specials" menu is brought to you on a menu board.

Food is Available every day except Mondays. We close all day Mondays.

From 12 until 2p.m. for Lunch
 
Tuesday through to Saturday, for evening meals from 6 p.m. until 9.30p.m.

We also serve meals on a Sunday Evening from 7 until 9p.m. this is followed by our very popular Quiz night, starting at 9.30p.m. and you don`t have to be a brain box! its fun, its a giggle and there are prizes of up to £100 to be won!

Although we are a Free House we choose to use Green King as our supplier for our beers, we serve a very nice well kept IPA.
The Abbots pretty good too!
We only stock 2 main real ales usually, as we like to look after them and turn them over, to ensure you get the perfect pint every time, we sometimes have a third usually in the summer months and occasionally at Christmas
Handpumps, carved for us in our first pub right back in 1982 and still pulling.........
