All our dishes are prepared fresh daily on the premises, by the owner Chef Alan, and his team Wendy, Chloe and Tanya. Our menus change frequently depending on what fresh produce is currently available, we insist on fresh produce at all times and try to ensure it is from local producers.
Food is available Tuesday to Sunday we are open from 12:00 until 14:00 for lunch Tuesday to Saturday we are open from 17:30 until 21:00 for evening meals We close after service on a Sunday afternoon and re open on Tuesdays.
Here at the White Hart we understand how important it is to be aware of food allergies and intolerances, our waiting staff have a very good knowledge of our menus but we suggest you speak personally to Alan or a member of the kitchen team, who are always happy to speak with you and talk you through the menu, as we make almost everything in house we are aware of what we put in everything. Alan now has a Food Standards Agency Food Allergy and Intolerance Certificate.
Although we are a Free House we choose to use Green King as our supplier for our beers, we serve a very nice well kept IPA. The Abbot is pretty good too! We only stock 2 main real ales usually, as we like to look after them and turn them over, to ensure you get the perfect pint every time.
